Manolo has studied and plaid many genre of music but the only one he really enjoy composing is the electroacoustic music. Part of the contemporary music the electroacoustic music adds to traditional and classical instruments the use of electronic sounds and audio equipment, this used to interact and modify sounds from any source and diffuse the sound in a creative way.
From video art to ballet dance his music has been used as sound track of many shows and installations. Manolo live performances have been sometimes controversial, taking the rock'n'roll attitude to auditoriums and bringing the contemporary music inside clubs.
Manolo is at moment working on his new album.

From an interview on an e-magazine:
"
... On this CD there is the first piece of electronic music I ever composed. It all happened in the summer of 1995 , after I stopped playing with my rock band, Danze Ufo, I've been exploring my electric guitar and trying to make new sounds out of it. I thought that the major difference between two guitarists playing the same part is the noise within the sound that they produce with their instrument; so I started to pay a lot of attention to the noise and I ended up adding more and more noise in the way I was playing, it was kind of crazy but I was having goooood fun...
...One day the train station near where I use to live gave me the inspiration. I was hearing these trains coming and going, to me it sounded like an old blues song, it was so magical. I just tried to play that song and I discovered a new world of sounds. I was playing my guitar with brushes, pieces of metal and whatever was catching my attention just to discover the new possibility of my “new” instrument. After some beautiful summer's nights spent playing those noises in front of some good friends I came out with “ Una Giornata di Agosto” (One August's Day). Thanks to my brother I sent my composition to The “Russolo - Pratella” Foundation , they were running a competition to honour the memory of the futurist composer Luigi Russolo * (1885-1947) The Art Of Noise*, that year I won the price for the electroacoustic category ..."
There is no way to explain this music so get relaxed and enjoy the noises.
