About the LSS:

 

The London School of Sound was created to provide the best training in every aspect of music production, with a particular attention to the home/project studio scene.

We know, through our experience as freelance programmers and sound engineers, that a professional result can be achieved at home just like in an expensive studio.

We realized that many people have the talent and the ideas but are held back by some technical limitations and lack of experience, and it's quite frustrating to see that the majority of the courses around don't really answer their questions, preferring to focus on a few antiquated "industry standard" machines, teaching the things anyone could learn just by reading the manual, instead of helping the students to achieve better mixes, better arranging, unique sounds.

Also we wanted to offer short, intensive, specific courses to all the experienced musicians and djs looking to improve their technical knowledge, but who obviously wouldn't have the time or the need for a full music production course.

We proud ourselves of the fact that all our lecturers are part-timers, meaning that our students benefit from the experience of real professionals, people who don't just teach, but every week mix, produce, and use the instruments in the real world.

We are committed to be the BEST of all the courses you have ever seen and will ever see: our classes have an average maximum of four students (when it's not one-to-one), and as much as possible the students practice through direct involvement in real productions for commercial release.

And above all, we absolutely love what we teach and care that each and every student gets the most from our courses.
